I'm really starting to miss weekends at The Grove. Haven't been going much mostly due to my work schedule. But I've removed myself from the Worship Team because of my hand issues. I won't go into more boring details about my current hand problems but it does bum me out about not being able to play guitar at all.Going to church and seeing my friends onstage feels a little like watching 9 people open up presents while you're not allowed to open yours, or not able to actually. I miss the fellowship, I miss the connection with my faith through music.
Despite all my efforts to get better, it seems as though God has something else for me or is allowing me to endure some process in order to enable my growth in this area of my life. A shift in focus?

Actually, things are really progressing. I hated running in my friend who's touring with Lukather right now. Even after 18 years, I still felt compelled to prove myself as far as playing chops go.
